Volunteering

(Click to download)

Volunteers are the lifeblood of CSTE, without their dedication we wouldn't be able to offer the services we do.

Our volunteer Crisis Support Workers are the lifeblood of CSTE. Day or night our volunteers are ready to assist the victims, relatives and emergency responders involved in, or affected by, an emergency or disaster.

All of our volunteers recieve specialist training from a wide-range of subject-matter experts from around the UK to help provide psychosocial support to those affected by an emergency or disaster.

All we ask is for volunteers to give just a couple of hours of their timea month to attend training events and meetings.

What we are looking for

Whilst we welcome applications from individuals of any background we are specifically looking for people who are qualified and experienced in providing care and assistance to children and/or adults. But don't worry, if you are a caring individual, a good listener and respond well to crises then you might have what it takes to be a volunteer Crisis Support Worker.
